About Max

Hello!

My name is Max Harris and I am a Certified Flight Instructor ready to help you achieve your goals in aviation.

I’ve spent significant time flying in the shifty weather of the Northeast, the wild expanses of Alaska, and the windy plains and mountains of Colorado. My full time career is in aviation—the call of the skies and moving through them is my passion and a huge source of joy. I enjoy imparting knowledge to curious to-be aviators, and find great satisfaction in the accomplishments and growth of my students.

I currently instruct at Odyssey Pilot Hours, where clean modern facilities and technically advanced light sport aircraft provide a premium experience at a competitive rate. On-site, full-time maintenance staff ensure aircraft availability and a smooth and consistent training program with minimal downtime.

I am also open to instruction or refresher flights in your personal aircraft if desired.

I have experience in a variety of trainer aircraft: high wing and low wing, glass cockpits and ‘steam’ gauges, tricycle gear, and tailwheel, and always enjoy learning a new bird.

When not flying, I enjoy climbing, hiking, skiing, and adventuring with my fiancé and our trusty hound dog.
